Before submitting, please carefully review the following guidelines:

1. Submission Types:

• We accept submissions in the following categories:

  • Short stories (non-fiction)

  • Poetry

  • Personal essays and memoirs

  • Photography (color or black-and-white)

  • Illustrations and artwork

2. Content Themes and Topics:

• Gold Couture focuses on showcasing the latest trends, designs, and innovations in the fashion industry. It highlights couture fashion, luxury brands, high-end designers, and influential fashion icons. The magazine covers a wide range of topics related to fashion, including runway shows, fashion photography, beauty trends, fashion editorials, and interviews with designers, models, and industry insiders.

3. Word Count or Size Limit:

• Written submissions: Up to 3,000 words for short stories or personal essays.

• Poetry: Up to three poems per submission, with a maximum of 50 lines per poem.

• Photography and artwork: High-resolution images in JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

 

4. Formatting Requirements:

• Written submissions should be in Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, and submitted as a Microsoft Word document or PDF.

• Include a title page with your name, contact information, and the title of your submission.

• Photography and artwork submissions should be accompanied by a brief description or artist statement.

 

5. Submission Process:

• Email submissions to pharaohsgoldcouture@gmail.com  with the subject line: "Submission: [Gold Couture]."

• Include a brief cover letter in the body of the email, introducing yourself and your submission.

• Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please notify us promptly if your work is accepted elsewhere.

 

6. Rights and Permissions:

• We acquire first North American serial rights for published submissions. Contributors retain copyright and may republish their work with appropriate acknowledgment of its initial publication in Gold Couture Magazine.

 

7. Response Timeframe:

• We aim to respond to submissions within 8-12 weeks of receipt. Please refrain from sending follow-up inquiries until after this period has elapsed.

 

8. Editorial Process:

• Submissions are reviewed by our editorial team for quality, originality, and alignment with our magazine's theme.

• Accepted submissions may be subject to minor edits for clarity, grammar, and style. Authors will have an opportunity to review and approve edits before publication.

 

9. Guidelines for Professionalism and Originality:

• We uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and respect for diverse voices in our publication.

• All submissions must be original work created by the submitting author or artist. Plagiarism or infringement of copyright will result in immediate disqualification.
